Marvel Legends Series A-Force Sif

It's about time I opened up some exclusives. First up Lady Sif from the Marvel Legends A-Force box set.

I've been looking forward to getting Sif. Asgardians are in short supply in the collection and we could use several more. The Warriors Three pleaseeeeee! And how about some Frost Giants and Surtur! I digress. Sif is a nice looking figure. I just wish the fur of her cape wasn't so blue. It spoils her appearance for me. She's got a nice head sculpt. She wears a neutral expression. The paint apps are generally okay. There's a bit of slop at her eyes to my minor annoyance. The has is nice nice and has good detail but it unfortunately restricts head articulation. The body reuses Angela's body aside from the upper torso. The design of her attire was painted a little slanted on my figure... The belt and skirt is one separate piece. I like that they painted the rings and studs. The skirt section is thin and flexible and allows leg articulation. She wears a cape with fur covering the top. Like I said before, the blue wash is too much.

Her cape looks fine if she's standing straight. It'll look awkward though when she raises her arms or extends them out to the sides. The cape is removable which allows her more freedom.

She comes with a sword which may be stored on the loop on her belt. Watch out for the paint on the handle as it seems to come off easily.

Articulation. She's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can look down but not up due to the fur of her cape and hair. She cannot flex her hand outward much due to the forearm armour. The skirt piece is very flexible and allows leg articulation. The only thing is the skirt piece will get raised when she raises her legs.

Comparison shots.

Nice figure. I'm a little disappointed with how much the hair and fur restricts head articulation. She tends to end up looking downwards when posed... Oh well... Thanks for viewing!
