Marvel Legends Series Dazzler

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Dazzler.

(to the tune of "Stayin' Alive")

Well, you can tell from the way that Dazzler blings;
she's a disco girl, and loves to sing.
Dressed in white, and roller skates, don't no one say, she's out of date.
Her figure's out. It's okay. It's real cool and looks really great.
Made of parts, of old and new
The paint apps' good too what a thrill

Lol. Don't know what came over me to start thinking about lyrics for the above. Wasted about half an hour when I should be taking more photos... Dazzler is a great looking figure. I love her disco era attire which is unique for a superhero. The body is a mix of old and new parts. The upper torso with the sculpted collar is new, as are the bell bottom lower legs. And of course the roller skates. The arms, ab region and upper legs reuses those from the slimmer adult female mould, such as Phoenix. Her bracelets were painted on. She wears a disco ball necklace around her neck. Both chain and pendant have nice sculpted detail and has a good shine to it. The necklace is removable. Moving on to the head. I was going to highly praise the paint apps on her face but I just noticed a small stray splotch on the left side. It's still good overall though. The edges of the design are generally clean and straight. Her eyebrows were painted on and there's a black ring around her eyes. The hair kinda looks like a lion's mane. There's certainly a lot bounce. Her locks are thick and have some brown shading in them. Her earrings were sculpted on the interior of the hair piece.  .

Now there's an issue with my figure and that is the left ankle hinge is facing towards her left. This causes poses to look off. I haven't been able to correct it....

A closer look at her roller skates. They were cast in silver plastic. The disco ball pattern was sculpted on. The blue wheels do not roll. The toe stop comes in handy when posing the figure. She can stand reasonably well.

Accessories. She comes with a microphone and a multi-coloured light effect piece. Also included is the left arm of the Warlock BAF.

Articulation. She's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can look down well. Her hair restricts her from looking up.

Comparison shots. I wanted to get the other figures to be level with Dazzler's shoes but the bases are not thick enough. Dazzler is still a couple of centimetres higher so take note of that.

I like the figure. I'm annoyed with the ankle issue. Hopefully you don't encounter it. Thanks for viewing!
