STGCC 2016 - XM Studios

Can't make it to STGCC? Not to worry I got you covered. For some of the toy sections at least. Here's what was at the XM Studios booth.

I hope those who wanted to make orders manage to get what you wanted. The queues are crazy! Especially in the first half of the day. It is testament to the quality products XM Studios are offering.

I'll just highlight some statues which caught the eye and you can see the rest of my photos in the gallery.

I love the Spider-man and Mary Jane statue. But believe it or not, the Kingpin trumps that for me thanks to its really cool concept. The essence of the character is well captured. It's so like him to plot characters against one another. And those chess pieces. Wow! The white pieces are of Spider-man, Daredevil and Elektra. The black pieces represent the villains which include the Green Goblin and Sandman. Click images to enlarge.

XM Studios had a special room set up to showcase some prototypes, WIP pieces and concept drawings.

They have a line of their own creations in the works. It's called Moonless Nights. From the artwork it has a fantasy kind of feel to it.

A Star Wars statue is finally shown. And it's none other than Boba Fett!

Boba Fett wasn't the only Star Wars statue on display. No sir. Behind closed doors they had several more. Photography was not allowed. There's the Evolution of Anakin Skywalker piece, Darth Maul, General Grievous, Luke and Yoda, and Luke in pilot outfit. All of them looked great!

That about covers it. Click the link to go to the gallery.
